Building a septic tank does not require a building permit, but 30 days before the planned commencing of the actual building process the intent must be announced in the Architecture Department of the local District or County Office where an application must be presented including a sketch of the reservoir drawn into a map prepared for designing purposes by a land-surveyor. If the Office has no objections to lodge, after 30 days from the date of presenting the application (or the date of the postmark if the application is to be sent by mail) the building process may be commenced. All the formal requirements may also be taken care of while applying for a house building permit.
