The amount of domestic sewage may be assumed to be equal with the amount of water used for living purposes, not including the non-returnable water used for watering greenery, washing cars, filling and refilling ponds with fountains etc. In dwelling houses with full sanitation systems a volume of 150 litres of water usage and sewage per person per day is assumed, it is accordingly 1 ENO (equivalent number of occupants). Determining the amount of sewage channeled has a direct influence on the size of an adjacent sewage treatment plant. Marie treatment plants in complete sets (multi-chambered putrefactive settling tank, distribution drain, seepage drainage with chimneys, geofibre) are designed for: -a set with a double-chambered settling tank 2500 with a capacity up to 800 liters per day for max. 5 users -a set with a double- or triple-chambered settling tank 3500 with a capacity up to 1100 liters per day for max. 9 users -a set with a double- or triple-chambered settling tank 7500 with a capacity up to 2500 liters per day for max. 20 users
